Ryan BoehmRyan Boehm, BS ’03, MSPS ’13
Digital Director for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker

Ryan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science at Suffolk. “I knew having an advanced degree would be helpful in getting ahead in my career. And being at Suffolk, in the shadow of the State House, certainly opened doors for me and made networking easier. When I graduated from the program, I went to work for a small public policy nonprofit and my professors would meet with me and my clients to offer free advice. When I got the call to be digital director for the governor’s press office, I was very thankful for my Suffolk education.” See his video at suffolk.edu/ryan.

Anthony SojkaAnthony Sojka, MSF ’16
Fund Accountant at ALPS

“Suffolk has a location that no one can beat. It was a 10-minute T ride from my work to class. And I loved the diversity in my small classes. I had classmates from many professions and different parts of the world. Each day, I could see what I was doing at work come to life in the classroom. It didn’t hurt that my professor rode the train home with me at night. I felt like I got 45 minutes of individual instruction after every class. This is a place where professors love what they teach and value getting to know you.”
